Join us in celebrating the unity, growth and inclusivity of pickleball across the Caribbean. The Caribbean Pickleball Championships feature players of all ages and levels competing in two exciting events:
The Caribbean Championships

February 6th – 7th, 2025

Venue:
Pickleball Cayman, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Open:
Events: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Singles
Levels: 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0+
Senior (50+):
Events: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Singles
Levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+
Senior players need to be at least 50 years old on 31 Dec 2025
Junior:
U10, U14, U18
Singles & Doubles (no gender restriction, no levels)
U10 must be under 10 years old on 1 Jan 2025 and so on
Format:
Round robin group stage with regular scoring to 11, win by 2.
Top 2 in each group advance to knockout. Seeding decided by wins, then head to head, then points difference then points for then coin toss.
QFs and SFs are regular scoring to 15, win by 2.
In the Open Doubles events, finals are best of 3 games to 11, win by 2. All other events, the final is one game to 15, win by 2.
Medal Count:
All medals won in the Championships contribute to the Caribbean Medal Table with higher level events carrying more weighting.
Countries will be ranked based on medal standings, fostering pride and friendly competition.
Eligibility:
Players must be citizens or residents (minimum 2 years) of a Caribbean nation to enter. Doubles pairings must have both players from the same nation.

The Caribbean Nations Cup
(for Caribbean nations to enter)
February 8th – 9th, 2025
Venue:
Pickleball Cayman, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Format:
Each Caribbean nation competes as a team in an MLP style tournament. Each team must have a minimum of 2 men and 2 women and a maximum of 4 men and 4 women.
A match between two nations consists of Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, 2 Mixed Doubles and a Singles Tiebreaker if needed.
Teams will play group matches on Saturday February 8th with the top two teams in each group advancing to the playoffs on Sunday February 9th.
There will be a 5 minute break between the gender doubles, the mixed doubles and a tie-breaker if needed.
Divisions:
Open and Senior (50+)
Senior players need to be at least 50 years old on 31 Dec 2025
Scoring:
Group stage matches are first to 15 with regular scoring in the Open category and first to 11 with regular scoring in the Senior category.
Playoff matches best of 3 to 11 with regular scoring.
Singles tiebreakers are rally scoring to 21, win by 2 on serve. Each team must submit a list of 4 players who each play 4 points before rotating to the next listed player.

Players must be citizens or residents (minimum 2 years) of a Caribbean nation to enter.

The Caribbean Championships and the Caribbean Nations Cup are sanctioned by the Pickleball Federation of the Americas and the Cayman Islands Pickleball Association.
